(Version 1.0)

Updated over a year ago

Promotions allow you to dynamically add items to all your orders, based on a condition like order total, order item, shipping destination, items category or various combinations of all of them.

To access the Promotions page, navigate to:

☰ > Sales > Promotions

Create a Promotion

Navigate to the Promotions page and follow the steps 🪜:

Set Items:

  • Store: Choose the store where the promotion will be active.

  • Start to End Date: Define the promotion's active period. You can leave the End Date field empty to keep the promotion active endlessly unless it is manually deactivated or ended by # of users.

  • # of Uses: Limit how many times this promotion can be redeemed (Enter 0 for unlimited uses).

  • Active Toggle: Enable to activate the promotion.

  • Description: Briefly describe the promotion's purpose.

  • Items Section: Click + Add Item to choose items for the promotion, set quantity (Qty), and cost per unit.

Set Conditions:

  • Field Options:

    • Order Total: Sets a minimum order value.

    • Order Item: Applies the promotion based on specific items.

    • Shipping Destination: Restrict promotions to specific locations.

    • Item Category: Limit promotion to specific item categories.

  • Condition Types:

    • Equals: Activates if the chosen field matches an exact value.
Example: If "Order Total" is set to $50, the promo applies only when the order total is exactly $50.

    • Greater than: Activates if the field exceeds the set value.
Example: If "Order Total" > $20, the promo applies when the total is over $20.

    • Less than: Activates if the field is under the set value.
Example: If "Order Total" < $100, the promo applies for totals below $100.

    • Greater than or Equals / Less than or Equals: Activates if the field meets or exceeds/falls below the value.
Example: If "Order Total" ≥ $50, the promo applies for totals of $50 or more.

  • Add Condition: Click to add multiple conditions using “AND” or “OR” logic to combine criteria.

Finalize and Save:

  • Click Save to complete your promotion setup.

New orders will be given the promotion automatically when they are created, but pre-existing orders may not, so these may need to be reimported.
