What is the Receiving Dashboard?

The Receiving Dashboard in OrderGrid provides an overview of incoming orders across multiple warehouses, or a single warehouse, depending on your selection. It allows users to monitor and manage receiving activities. The dashboard displays the status, delivery date, and order quantity of each receiving order (RO), helping businesses efficiently track and manage stock levels, especially when dealing with large volumes of orders.

To access the Receiving Dashboard, navigate to:

☰ > Purchases > Receiving Dashboard

Dashboard Features

  1. Filters and Navigation:

    • Date Range Selector: Choose a specific time frame for viewing orders using the calendar. You can also use the < | > arrows to move forward or backward through different date ranges to view past or future orders.

    • Warehouse Filter: Select a warehouse from the dropdown menu to filter orders accordingly.

  2. Configuration Thresholds:
Click on the "Configuration" button to set alert thresholds for:

    • Price Variation: Get notifications when the order price differs by a specified percentage compared to the same day the previous week.

    • Quantity Variation: Receive alerts when item quantities change by a designated percentage compared to the same day the previous week.

  3. Order Cards (After Receiving Order Creation):
The Order Cards provide a quick summary of each receiving order, displaying the following key details:

    • Delivery Date: Located at the top of the card, indicating when the order is expected to arrive.

    • Status: Shows whether the order is Open, Completed, or Cancelled.

    • Price: The total value of the order.

    • GRO Number: A hyperlinked number (e.g., GRO-113989) that, when clicked, takes you directly to the detailed page of the receiving order.

    • Order Category: Displays the type/category of the order.

    • Order Quantity: The total quantity of items in the order.

Configuration Thresholds Note:

If the Price Variation or Quantity Variation threshold is set to 20%, you will receive a notification whenever there is a 20% gap between the quantities or prices of previous orders. This helps monitor significant changes in order pricing or quantities, allowing you to take action if necessary.
