Manage Users

Users feature allows admins to manage user's access to the app.

To use manage users, navigate to

☰ > Settings > Users.

Note:

Based on the roles and access setup for your company, users other than admins may have these settings available to use.


Add a User

Users can be added in two different ways to the application.

  1. Create a user on the app.

  2. Send an invite to the user to sign up.

Create a User

You can create a user on the OrderGrid app by following these steps 🪜:

  1. Navigate to the Users settings.

  2. Click + Create User .

  3. Add in user information, First Name, Last Name, Email Address, and Phone Number.

  4. Add a password that is:

    • is at least 8 characters long.

    • has at least one uppercase letter.

    • has at least one lowercase letter.

    • has at least one digit.

    • has at least one special character.

  5. Select Groups.

    A Group define a level and a type of access provided to the users based on the roles and permissions set by an admin or OrderGrid for your company.
  6. Select one or multiple warehouses. You can leave this blank to add the user to all the warehouses in the company.

  7. Add any Reference for the user if needed. Example: Picker, Packer, Temporary Employee, etc.

  8. Click Save .

Please securely share the login credentials email and password, so they can access the OrderGrid application.

Send an Invite

You can invite a user to sign up on the OrderGrid app by following these steps 🪜:

  1. Navigate to the Users settings.

  2. Click Sent Invite .

  3. Add Email Address.

  4. Select Groups.

  5. Select one or multiple warehouses. You can leave this blank to add the user to all the warehouses in the company.

  6. Add any Reference for the user if needed. Example: Picker, Packer, Temporary Employee, etc.

  7. Click Send .

Once, the invite is sent, the user will receive an email with the invite.

Accept Invite

The user will receive an invite email as below.

⚠️Note:

  • The user already has access to one company and is acquiring access to a different company via an invitation. Please ensure that you are not currently logged in on the OrderGrid app.

  • The user needs to accept the invite within 30 minutes of receiving an invitation.

To accept the invite and sign up on the OrderGrid App, follow the steps 🪜:

  1. Click Accept Invite .

  2. You will be redirected to the registration webpage.

  3. Add a Password.

  4. Confirm Password

  5. Add First and Last Name.

  6. Add Phone Number. (optional)

  7. Click Sign Up .


Edit a User

To edit a user, follow these steps 🪜:

  1. Under the ☰ > Settings > Users , find the user you want to edit.

  2. Click Actions and select Edit .

  3. On the Edit user screen, you can update the Groups, Warehouses, and Reference for the user.

  4. Once changes are done, click Save .


Remove a User

To edit a user, follow these steps 🪜:

  1. Under the ☰ > Settings > Users , find the user you want to edit.

  2. Click Actions and select Remove .

  3. Click Confirm .


Export Users

You can export the list of the users by clicking Export on the users' settings page.

This list includes all users in the company with the details below:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Warehouse

  • Groups
