What is a Line?
Lines refer to packing stations in a warehouse.
To configure the Lines, navigate to
☰ > Warehouse > Lines
Configure a Pack Line
Create a Line
To create a new line, follow the steps 🪜:
click
+ New Line
.Add a Name for the line.
Select the Warehouse.
(Optional) To configure a pack line specific to a Client, select the client from the drop-down menu. This means that only orders from the selected client can be packed on the line. To use the line for all the clients, skip this step.
Click
Save
.
Note:
Each pack line should have an associated printer. To set up printers for a specific line navigate to Line Settings.
Edit a Pack Line
To edit a line, follow the steps 🪜:
click
Actions
.Select Edit.
Update the Name, Warehouse, or Client.
Click
Save
.
Remove a Pack Line
To remove a line, follow the steps 🪜:
click
Actions
.Select Remove.
⚠️ Note:
Removing a line will make it inactive. Any inactive lines cannot be recovered and activated back again.
Line Settings
The Line Settings allows associating the line with printers to print out the labels, documents, and cards.
To access the line settings, navigate to
☰ > Warehouses > Settings > Line Settings
Add a printer for a line
Note:
Before configuring line settings, ensure the following steps are completed:
Connect the Printer:
Ensure the printer is connected to the device.
Install the required printer drivers on the device's operating system.
Configure the printer in the operating system's printer settings.
Install JSPrintManager Version 7:
Ensure JSPrintManager Version 7 is installed on the device. No other version is supported on the OrderGrid app.

To add printers for a line, follow the steps 🪜:
Click
+ Add Line
.Select a line from the Warehouse Line drop-down.
Select a Default Label Printer, Default Document Printer, and Default Card Printer from the list of connected printers to the device.
Click
Save

Edit or Delete Line Settings
To update the line settings for a pack line, click
Actions
> Edit.To delete the line settings for a pack line, click
Actions
> Delete.
