What is a Manual Channel?
A Manual Channel is a type of channel that allows you to create and manage orders without third-party integration directly into the OrderGrip app.
Create a Manual Channel
To create a Manual Channel, follow these steps 🪜:
Navigate to the Channels page: ☰ > Sales > Channels.
Click on
+ New Channel.Select Integration: Choose Manual from the list of available integrations.
Add Channel Information:
Channel Name: Assign a unique name to your channel.
Short Description: Briefly describe the channel's purpose.
Channel Currency: Select the transaction currency.
Optional configurations:
Use Product Mapping: Enable this feature to map products to inventory.
Packing Slip for all Orders: Toggle this on if required for order processing.
Click Connect to finalize the setup.
Now that you have created a channel, follow the next steps in getting started.
Edit a Manual Channel
To edit your Manual Channel, follow the steps 🪜:
Navigate to the channels page.
On the Manual Channel, click Actions (⋮) > Edit.
Update any channel information, such as:Channels Name
Channel Description
Channel Currency
Click
Updateto save changes.
Deactivate or Activate a Channel
To deactivate or activate a channel. follow the steps 🪜:
Navigate to the Channels page
To deactivate a Channel:
On the Manual Channel, click Actions ⋮ > Deactivate
Type in your channel's name to confirm.
Click
Confirm.
To activate a Channel: On the Manual Channel, click Actions ⋮ > Activate
