What is a Manual Channel?

A Manual Channel is a type of channel that allows you to create and manage orders without third-party integration directly into the OrderGrip app.


Create a Manual Channel

To create a Manual Channel, follow these steps 🪜:

  1. Navigate to the Channels page: ☰ > Sales > Channels.

  2. Click on + New Channel .

  3. Select Integration: Choose Manual from the list of available integrations.

  4. Add Channel Information:

    • Channel Name: Assign a unique name to your channel.

    • Short Description: Briefly describe the channel's purpose.

    • Channel Currency: Select the transaction currency.

  5. Optional configurations:

    • Use Product Mapping: Enable this feature to map products to inventory.

    • Packing Slip for all Orders: Toggle this on if required for order processing.

  6. Click Connect to finalize the setup.

Now that you have created a channel, follow the next steps in getting started.


Edit a Manual Channel

To edit your Manual Channel, follow the steps 🪜:

  1. Navigate to the channels page.

  2. On the Manual Channel, click Actions (⋮) > Edit.
    Update any channel information, such as:

    • Channels Name

    • Channel Description

    • Channel Currency

  3. Click Update to save changes.


Deactivate or Activate a Channel

To deactivate or activate a channel. follow the steps 🪜:

Navigate to the Channels page

  • To deactivate a Channel:

    • On the Manual Channel, click Actions ⋮ > Deactivate

    • Type in your channel's name to confirm.

    • Click Confirm .

  • To activate a Channel: On the Manual Channel, click Actions ⋮ > Activate
