What is a Tag?

A tag holds an inventory in the Bin. It is a license plate or a scannable barcode label that attaches to the items or an inventory, which is then added to a bin. Tags are used during the receiving process, picking, and packing to handle inventory movements within the warehouse.

To access Tags, go to

☰ > Warehouse > Tags

Create a Tag

⚠️ Note: To create a tag, a bin needs to be created first.

  1. On the tags screen click + New Tag .

  2. Select a Bin, in which you want to create a tag.

  3. Choose a Tag Type.

  4. Select a Tag Status.

  5. Toggle Multi if you want to allow putting multiple items inside one tag.

  6. Toggle Locked if you want to block users from depleting the inventory from the tag.

  7. Toggle Active if you want the tag to be active.

  8. Click Save .
