Background
OrderGrid uses an economy service called UPS Mail Innovations. UPS Mail Innovations works with the U.S. Postal Service, providing the pick-up, processing and interim transportation of mail. Then, final delivery of your package is made by domestic and international postal services.
This articles helps you and your customers understand tracking pages and tracking numbers between the two shipping carriers.
Process
1. Open the UPS tracking page, which is hyperlinked on the OrderGrid order page.
2. Click on 'View Details' to find the USPS tracking number.
3. On the module that pops up, 'Package Identification Code' is the USPS tracking number. Enter this number into USPS tracking.
4. The USPS tracking page will have delivery updates for the last mile portion of your shipment. This screenshot shows the date & time this package was delivered.
